It’s Monday, March 19th, which is St Joseph’s Day (commemorated in Providence, Rhode Island “through ‘the wearing of the red’, i.e., wearing red clothing or accessories similar to the wearing of green on Saint Patrick’s Day”).

And it’s 985 days, or 2 years + 9 months + 10 days until the next State election. Twice as long would not be time enough to forget how this government tried, on the altar of a budgetary surplus, to sacrifice the public health system, its’ nurses and the public it was elected to protect and serve.
