April 20 is 2012’s Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network’s (GLSEN) annual Day of Silence, when students take a day-long vow of silence to symbolically represent the silencing of LGBT students and their supporters.

There are 255 days left of 2012, and 953 days (2 years, 7 months, a week and 2 days) until the Victorian state election. We cannot be silent, in the leadup to that election, about the negative affect of this government on the health and wellbeing of our citizens – maintain your rage, remember, and speak out!
While you’re at it, the Mental Health EBA campaign still needs you support and the Aged Care campaign (which is federal) is still ongoing – this potentially affects all of us, and we all need to fight for better conditions.
